In reply to Abe Brown. I'm glad you found the article enlightening, Abe. Yeah, a lot of the eBay listings are extremely thin. Though, that's a difficult thing for eBay to address since the people creating those listings are just random people, not eBay employees. eBay could fix their issue with ads, though. I think with eBay, it's less about getting hit and more about bringing them back down to where they should have been.

I understood that Google panda is more about content. With your article, I am now fully getting why ebay and sites like them have lost most of their ranking. Ads and Links! Those pages just have too many ads and links within their site, and only have thin content per product listings. It's good to learn about this to be able to make adjustments to our site and avoid getting hit. It's a pain to get back up from being hit by Google.
