Hi Nathan, I appreciate the reply. I’ll do my best to speak the truth in love here… it’s not possible for there to be “strong following for Jesus” at Mile-Hi. I’ll explain…

The definition of Christian is “one who follows Christ.” Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” But Mile-Hi church teaches, “Any world teacher who helps humankind to be free from material, intellectual, or emotional bondage is a spiritual ‘savior.’ Mile Hi church is leading people astray by telling them Jesus is just a man like anyone else, and you can find God, forgiveness and fulfillment in many other ways.

It would be like someone telling you there are many ways to get to Polaris (the North Star). In reality, it’s humanly impossible to reach Polaris. Even if someone built a rocket that could travel nearly the speed of light, it would take 500 years to get there. Therefore, anyone who encourages people to find their own way to Polaris would be sending them down a fruitless path. It’s only by the power of God that someone could get to Polaris. Similarly there is no human way to God. God (Jesus) had to come to us.

This is the core of what it means to be a Christian. No one who believes this could continue to be a part of Mile Hi and sit idlely by while they lead people astray. Does that make sense?

I’m sure in contrast to the “Joy of Satan,” Mile Hi seems much more positive and inspiring. It’s important to note, however, that Jesus was never about becoming “successful.” In fact, He taught just the opposite, we must choose between our selfish desires to be successful and Him.

Thoughts?

Yes, that’s true to some extent for sure about Mile-Hi but there is a strong following for Jesus in the church still, such as my Grandmother (who got me started there as a child).

I’m what one would call certainly not a church going type of person but Mile-Hi resonates with my soul and my following of Jesus since I was young. Again, funny, you wouldn’t think of it first looking at my life, but yes, I’m very attuned with the teachings of Jesus, I have a very light heart and humor towards it all in I assure you a healthy way that actually I believe is my true way of worship. I’ve done a bit of mentoring with Ron Ball too, which was certainly more serious, he teaches abundant/business/strategy/living techniques surrounding the teachings of Jesus and I find him rather refreshing about the statistics he has towards those who succeed and don’t… A few I find interesting.. Those who married their first wife and stayed married… those who worship together.. and those who have a giving and unselfish heart — both in business, personal and to those in need are people who have a HUGE increasing statistic of becoming “successful” in life.

Keep up the great work 🙂

Interesting fact, I was actually a Reverend of the Joy of Satan when I was a teenager. Fun fun, interesting conversations there. Nothing like finding out what a bit of darkness and chaos is like and seeing how that energy flows in peoples lives compared to those who accept Jesus… big difference, I’m sure you’ll agree lol. Totally serious too.

That’s an interesting story. Are you and your wife learning about Jesus? Have you decided to follow Him? I ask because Mile-Hi Church is not a Christian church. They do not believe Jesus is the one and only Son of God.

My wife are looking for a church to help after were done with school in 2019 🙂 were a bit crazy and like making fun of religion, but despite it not seeming like were not legit, my wife went to Christian University in Lakewood CO and I’m in the midst of becoming a registered spiritual guide at Mile-Hi which is right next to CU.

Let us know!
