They want a source of help that they feel comfortable in trusting. Christians are approachable, and that's exactly how I feel. I treat others the way I want to be treated.

Do I want to be talked down to? Nope. Do I want to stand in front of someone and feel as their equal? You bet.

I think too many just use FB or Twitter just to post churchy garbage and aren't real. It's in the being real that people will find Jesus in you.. Hopefully.. I will say for me I have laid off of political conversation so I don't tick off my overly conservative friends and people I go to church with. I think as a leader you have to remain neutral so you have commonality with everyone..
