Hi Jean, thanks for making that point. You are correct – for those who may want to keep their site looking as it did 10 years ago, the Page Templates available in our WP-EZ 2.0 Website Builder will not help with that. They are more helpful for those building a new site or wanting to give their website a fresh look.

However, I liked the way my website was in WP-EZ 1.0. It was migrated to that platform from the older website builder you had, and I had to do some redesign in WP-EZ 1.0 to get the page to look nice. I’m happy with the layout and did not want to make changes when migrating to 2.0. I thought I might use some of the template elements on a couple of our pages, but after looking at it briefly I decided to stick with what I already had instead of moving it into the page elements. I do not have time to redesign the site, and even if I did I would likely end up making it look similar to how it looks now. The only reason I migrated was to avoid the extra fee you started charging for remaining with 1.0. I do appreciate the work your team did to fix the issues I had with the site after the migration; they did a great job!

Neglecting updates or making errors during the process could leave a website vulnerable to cyber threats.

I thought OurChurch.Com had automatically changed it to https, but I’ve noticed tonight that it still usually displays http. When I use my saved link in my browser, it’s http. When I typed it in manually beginning with www, it pulled in https, but when I navigated to the Map and Directions page it went back to http. I pulled up a new private window in my Firefox browser and typed in the url, and it is still http. Now I can’t get it to show https in my main browser window, either. The Google Console shows the site name with http. How do I get it changed to https? I tried to look at the instructions on Google, but it reads as if I have to do a lot of complicated work and submit re-directs of all the pages….
