Is Your Website Ready for 2016?

You probably read the title of this and thought, “Hey, it was just the first day of Fall.  Don’t rush me to 2016!”  However, bear with me as I explain…

If you have a website that is not working well, causing you or your organization pain, or if you don’t have a website at all, now is when you need to get started to have a website launched by Jan 1, 2016:

• We have approximately 3 months until 2016.
• It takes most organizations at least 1-2 months to determine a budget and make a decision on a website.
• It takes around 1 month for a website to be built (longer if you want a custom design)

  • Decision on design
  • Creating/gathering content
  • Site building
  • Launch of website

So if you want a new website ready by the beginning of 2016, you need to get started now.  If you want a new website by the beginning of December (in time for the Christmas season), you need to cut the decision making part of the process down to a month, so your site has a chance to be launched by December 1st.
