This past Friday we announced a bonus to adding The Joy FM online player to your website: The Joy FM is playing all Christmas music through Christmas.
At no other time of year do people listen to seasonal music like they do at Christmas time (Not many Groundhog Day or Arbor Day songs tearing up the charts).
I think part of the reason that we listen to Christmas music is that it reminds us of warm, cherished memories of Christmases past, while making new memories of our current Christmas.
One of my favorite memories of Christmas music is the first Amy Grant Christmas album. It probably was played from a vinyl record (or maybe a cassette tape). I know all the songs very well. Every time I listen to that album, it reminds be of the house I grew up in and spending time with my parents and brothers. But because I enjoy reliving those memories, I play it every Christmas, so new memories are being made with my wife and children.
In general, music has the ability to take us back to a different time. It brings back memories and emotions.

I think almost everyone associates him with Christmas
In general, music has the ability to take us back to a different time. It brings back the memories and emotions. it’s my favorite music, I heard this music a lot of time. Every time I listen to that album, it reminds me of the house I grew up in and spending time with my sisters and friends. it’s such lovely music.
