How to Add Sermons to Your Website

Sermons are some of the most helpful content you can add to your church website.

1. Visitors – Sermons help website visitors who are considering visiting your church in person so they can see and/or hear they the topics or scriptures taught on as well as your pastors preaching style.
2. Members – Sermons help church members who may have missed a service due to illness or traveling.
3. Teaching ministry – Sermons could also be the basis for a teaching ministry that extends beyond your congregation, to those who don’t have a local church in their area, or those who are looking for help or encouragement.

•  Sermons are automatically organized chronologically on a “Sermons” page
•  It’s easy to include audio, video, images, and/or text notes for each sermon
• “Tags” can be added for scripture references and topics, making it easy for people to find messages related to specific scripture or topics

Using this strategy, you’ll first need to create a “Sermons” category in your blog.  (How to add a blog category)

Then you can add a menu link to the sermons category as shown in the new video tutorial below.

After you’ve done this, you can add a new sermon to your sermon’s page by following the steps to create a new blog post.  Just set the category for each sermon post to “Sermons.”
