    > @StickyJesus Wrap-Up: 3 Takeaways & 3 Questions

    Paul SteinbrueckBy Paul SteinbrueckJun 8, 2011Updated:Feb 9, 202311 Comments2 Mins Read

After 6 weeks and 15 bloggers leading the discussion on the 15 chapters of @StickyJesus we have reached the end of this group blogging project.

Big thanks to Tami and Toni! Not only did they write an excellent book that challenged and instructed us to live out our faith online, but they were involved in the discussion throughout the entire project.

Big thanks to the 15 bloggers who wrote posts and led the discussion for each chapter. You guys did a fantastic job! Thanks especially to those of you who were engaged in the discussion throughout the entire book.

I hope through the course of reading @StickyJesus and/or discussing the blog posts that you’ve been inspired and learned a lot. If I had to pick just three critically important things I hope you take away from this project they would be:

    1) There are tremendous opportunities for Christians to share the gospel, encourage others, and live out their faith online.

    2) No matter how much or little you know about social media or blogging, you – yes, I’m talking about YOU – can make a significant impact for Christ online.

    3) Don’t do it alone. While you build relationships online with people who are not Christians, continue to stay connect to people who are committed to “living sticky.” Let’s stick together, encourage one another, challenge each other, share ideas, and share each other’s content. Iron sharpens iron!

Before I get to the final discussion questions, whether you participated in this series as a blogger, commenting, or even just reading along, would you take 2 minutes and do this quick @StickyJesus Feedback Survey? Thanks!

While this series ends here, I hope it’s more of a new beginning than an ending. So, I want to end with three questions.

    1. What’s the most significant thing you’ve learned through the @StickyJesus series?
    2. What’s your next step to “living sticky?”
    3. What can we do to help you live out your faith online from this point forward?

    15) you: a witness <– @StickyJesus project

Paul, this has been a wonderful experience and I have been blessed to be a part of it! I have learned so much during this project. Having read the book before and diligently following along all of the posts and comments, I am amazed by the power of this medium to do God's work. This project has proven that I can do this on my own and with my brothers & sisters to highlight Jesus as my "shiny" thing!

Wanda, thanks for participating. I'm really glad you were blessed by it. Any thoughts on what specifically is next for you?

This has helped me find my voice and I will be starting a personal blog soon!

Thanks for being an amazing host Paul – Awesome job! Thanks to all the bloggers, too. We loved sharing this work and conversation with ALL of you. I'm grateful for the powerful insights you brought and I learned something from each of you. The fellowshiip and community by everyone that came here during this time has been a big encouragement. Plus …it's a constant joy to see everyone going, growing, and glowing in the twitter and FB streams as well.

Thanks for rallying around this topic for a over a month! Wow. / Of course my prayer remains that you are even MORE inspired to live out your faith online, will lead others to find theirs, and encourage them to do the same.

      You, Are, Loved.
Keep doing what you do #All4Him and be His light online as you #LiveSticky!

Tami, it's been a pleasure. Thanks again for creating such a great resource in @StickyJesus and for not just talking the talk, but walking the walk when it comes to encouraging and engaging with people online.

I am so glad that I was able to participate in this project. Paul, Tami, Toni, you all were awesome! Thanks!

I DO feel like this is a new beginning for me. I am working out the plan for my new blog!

1.Coincidentally, I got the most out of file 14. The file I wrote about. I learned so many new and useful things.
2.I do a great job at living stick on Twitter. I am going to step it up a little on Facebook and get my blog going.
3.I'm not sure what you can do to help me live out my faith online in the future. Maybe be available for comments when I get in a slump. 🙂 I'll do the same for you!

Thanks again for this learning experience!

There is not a discussion on the entire worldwide web that outranks the discussion of Jesus Christ and His voice in the online space. How we handle that—together and individually—will give others insight into Christ and the hope of heaven.

My prayer is that we continue to interact and pray for eachother and never forget that this isn't a "social" mission but a daily battle. We aren't just "tweeting" we are part of a divine telling—the telling of salvation and the cross. To fuse mega bytes with Calvary takes courage and an unwaivering commitment from every saint.

I pray for each one of you and love you dearly for taking on this project and digging into this book that is so near and dear to our hearts. Thank you Paul for being a generous and humble host.

Toni, thanks for putting it all into perspective! Thanks again for writing @StickyJesus and being so engaged in the discussion. I hope we have the opportunity to do more together in the future.

LOVE your a, b, c, d! HONEST feedback is very important to me and a mentor/coach is appealing. I know I have a lot to learn but social media is something I really enjoy and I am totally pumped about being "sticky"!

      • Tami Heim on Jun 8, 2011 4:43 pm

I will second that with an AMEN, Christie!

Thanks for your words and encouragement, Tami.
