How to Brew Up the Best Content #Infographic

Paul SteinbrueckBy Paul SteinbrueckJun 27, 20142 Comments1 Min Read

brewing up great contentAs a communicator, I appreciate great content.  As person of German heritage who used to dabble in home brewing, I appreciate a great beer.  So, when I came across this infographic that compares content development with the brewing process, my brain and taste buds started tingling!

The infographic makes some great parallels between the two processes:

    1) It starts with strategy – Before you start brewing beer or content, you’ve got to know what your consumers want.  That means talking with and listening to the people you want to serve.

    2) Different styles for different occasions – One type of beer or content will not meet all your people’s needs.

    3) It’s a process that takes time – A brew-master can’t wake up in morning and create a great beer by happy hour.  It takes planning, brewing, distilling, bottling and distribution, and all of those things take time.  Similarly, you can’t whip up great content without taking the time to plan, research, write, collaborate, edit and distribute.

Here’s the infographic.  (Click on it to view the fullsize version)

What takeaways do you glean from this infographic?

Indeed a great infographic about producing great content.

By the way, I really liked the beer example you have given here. 🙂
