Rick Burnes at Hubspot posted an interesting article yesterday titled: Study Shows Small Businesses That Blog Get 55% More Website Visitors. He looked at data from their customers and found those that blogged got 55% more visitors, 97% more inbound links, and 434% more indexed pages. Impressive!
He was careful not to say the blogging caused the better visitor, link, and indexed page results. It’s a correlation. It is possible the organizations that blog are also on average bigger or better at other forms of online marketing (he didn’t say).
But it’s more evidence that blogging is one of the best ways to increase visitors to your website. And (apart from your time) it’s free.
Do you blog? If not, why not?
