Mark and I will be representing OurChurch.Com as exhibitors at the Florida United Methodist Conference in Daytona Beach this Wed and Fri. We’ll also be blogging and Twittering from the conference.
One of the cool trends with Twitter is the use of hashtags at conferences to enable people to see what others are Twittering about at a conference. For example, if everyone who Twitters from the FL UMC conference includes #flumc in their tweets, it makes it easy to see all the tweets related to the conference.
I saw this blog post organizing Twitter hashtags for this year’s UMC conferences. There wasn’t one posted for the FL UMC conference, so I suggested #flumc. That’s what we’ll be using.
