great post Paul, i think seo is still growing but maybe a little slower after all the google penguin updates what with the fear of seo loss they have given a lot of people

Thanks Sarah. That's an interesting idea. It's possible that Google's Penguin algorithm has caused people to invest less in SEO. On the other hand, perhaps companies are investing more in SEO because it takes more time and resources to get legitimate links instead of the spammy links Penguin catches and penalizes for.

I don’t recommend to register website to the Google such as webmatser tools, since under google radar is not good for seo I think. And the mobile friendly is more and more useful for SEO 🙂

Hi Paul. for the hacking, my site was attacked times and times by my competitor by DDOS, will it affect my site rank? 🙂

      • Paul Steinbrueck on Apr 21, 2017 10:07 am

Only if the DDOS is so bad that search engines penalize your site for being really slow or they are unable to load your website at all.

Here I put mine in CloudFlare, but I’ll start paying to prevent Ddos attacks.
