Announcing Skyway Web Design and Marketing!

    Paul SteinbrueckBy Paul SteinbrueckJan 28, 2015Updated:Jan 27, 202316 Comments2 Mins Read

Skyway Logo 300 I’m very excited to announce the launch Skyway Web Design and Marketing.

For the last 18 years, the OurChurch.Com team has been helping churches, schools, ministries and businesses achieve their mission online by developing, hosting and marketing websites for them.

    Why Skyway?

Recently, however, Mark and I have felt a bit of a disconnect when talking with people we meet in the community.

We would meet people at our kids’ schools, baseball games, etc, get to talking about what we do for work. When we would meet business owners whose businesses really needed a better website and more visitors from search engines, as soon as we mentioned our company name – OurChurch.Com, some people mistakenly believed we couldn’t really help them.

Even when we told people about the businesses we’ve already helped to grow dramatically, there seemed to be some skepticism. The fact is many business owners and marketing directors just couldn’t get past the name OurChurch.Com or our logo.

    The fact is…

A brand is worthless if it doesn’t connect with the right audiences in a relevant way.

(Go ahead and tweet or share this)

So, we launched Skyway Web Design and Marketing, a company specifically focused on helping Tampa area businesses grow and find the success they’re looking for online.

Same amazing web design and search marketing services that have produced dramatic results for our clients for the last 18 years, now presented in a way that helps Tampa Bay business owners better understand we can produce these same results for them.

Don’t worry, OurChurch.Com isn’t going anywhere. We’re moving forward with some exciting new developments here as well.

What do you think of Skyway?

And what about your own brand? Is it connecting with the right audiences in a relevant way?

So what you are saying, without saying it, is that you are now two companies…one for the church and another for the world.

      • pauldsteinbrueck on Jan 30, 2015 2:56 pm

No, not really. We're still one company with one mission, we just have different ways of communicating it. From what I read in the gospels, Jesus had a similar approach – he spoke to the crowds using parables but spoke but spoke more explicitly about the Heavenly Father with his followers.

Does this mean the tag at the bottom of our home page will now read, "Web Design and Hosting by SKYWAY Web Design and Marketing instead of OurChurch.com?

      • pauldsteinbrueck on Feb 5, 2015 11:51 pm

The tag at the bottom of your website will not change. Only future sites build for organizations in the Tampa Bay area will indicate they were built by Skyway.

What is the difference between Our Church and Skyway Web?

      • pauldsteinbrueck on Feb 5, 2015 11:59 pm

There's no difference in the services offered. The only difference is the way we communicate what we do on the websites.

Very good move!! We are very happy with OurChurch.com. We have seen much more traffic/visits and responses to our website since changing over to the ourchurch.com web service almost a year and a half ago. We highly recommend ourchurch.com,Skyway Web Design for any church, ministry, or business. We love the "NE1 Web Builder," it so easy to use. Praying for God's continued blessing on your ministry. Keep up the good work!!

        Thanks Pastor Whaley!
