This Is What It’s All About

    Paul SteinbrueckBy Paul SteinbrueckSep 22, 2010Updated:Feb 8, 20234 Comments2 Mins Read

We talk about technology all the time here at Christian Web Trends.  But, it’s important to remember that ultimately all of this tech stuff is worthless unless it’s helping to connect real people to God and other people.

Jack Scalfani of Knott Avenue Christian Church in Anaheim, CA sent this awesome email to us and the media team at KACC.  He gave me permission to share it with you:

    Subject: Our service broadcast

I have a great praise report for you guys. God has blessed our media ministry tonight and I wanted to tell you about it.

Shane introduced me to a young adult man tonight who came from Mexico to Anaheim and was in search of a church. He found us on the internet. He put in the words Anaheim and church and we popped up first. He saw either our broadcast or our recorded service. He now comes here. This made my entire night. I am flying high and I had to share this with you all.

I just wanted to thanks everyone involved in our church broadcast on Saturday and now on Sunday nights. I want to thank OurChurch.com for making sure we pop up at the top of all the search engines. (SEO).

I especially want to thank God for giving us the tools to reach his people. I can’t say enough how great I feel right now.

You guys are the ones who make this possible. Let’s keep reaching for the millions of people out there and do big things with the KACC media dept.

    God bless.

This is what it’s all about!

I love hearing stories like this!

Are you sharing the stories of the people whose lives have been impacted by what you and your team are doing with technology?

Love hearing these kinds of things. Any other churches out there with stories like this?

We have had two families in the last while come to West Park Church after checking us out on line for a couple of weeks. http://media.westpark.on.ca/
Our seniors often watch on line when they aren't well enough to come and some "snow birds" (those who go to Florida to avoid the Canadian winter keep in touch with home by watching on line.
Thanks to all our tech guys and gals!

Cool, Alex! Have you told your tech/media team? When you do, it would be great to name the families who started coming after checking out your website and the specific seniors and snow birds who watch online.
