WP-EZ Website Builder Is Going for the Gold

No, WP-EZ is not heading to Brazil this summer for the Olympics, but it is going for the gold.

If you have a Gold web hosting account at OurChurch.Com, you can now use the WP-EZ migration tool to copy a website built with our old NE1 web builder into our new WP-EZ Website Builder.

The migration tool continues to be available to free sites as announced last week.

We have updated the WP-EZ Migration FAQs.

We anticipate the migration tool will be made available in May for Silver and Bronze accounts.  But if you have a Silver or Bronze account and you don’t want to wait, you can upgrade from the MyOCC Dashboard.

And if you’re looking to build a brand new website, you can do that using WP-EZ anytime, right here.

Please continue to send us your feedback and questions, either as a comment to this blog post, or in a help desk ticket.

When I licked the "Migrate to WP-EZ" I get the following message:
There is an issue with your database preventing your site from being migrated. A message has been sent to our support team.
When we have resolved the issue, we will send you an email and will then be able to proceed with the migration.

I then tried to go to my CPanel to check my database, but my CPanel login no longer works. Do we get a new login to CPanel after the migration? Or is this a separate issue?

Hi Richard, thanks for making us aware of this issue. I know our support team already worked with you to resolves this, but for the sake of anyone else who reads this, yes, the two are related…

The migration tool creates a database for the WP-EZ website. If the password we have on file is no longer the current password, the migration tool cannot proceed, displays that message and emails our help desk. When our support team receives the message, they update the cpanel/FTP/database password.

After reviewing your question here, we updated the process so that when we notify a client the issue has been resolved we also send them the new cpanel/FTP/database password.

I have done the WP-EZ migration and I am in the process of tweaking it to make it look better before I activate it.
Any possibility that you could add a searchable sermon database plugin like sermon browser, https://wordpress.org/plugins/sermon-browser/ ?
This would be really helpful for churches and ministries to be able to upload sermons and for the users to be able to search by topic, preacher, bible passage or date. I think this is an essential for church websites today.
      Thanks,
