How Did Prince of Peace Welcome in the New Autumn Season?

Mark SteinbrueckBy Mark SteinbrueckSep 30, 2014No Comments2 Mins Read

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church has served the community of Schaumburg, Illinois, and the surrounding Northwest Chicago suburbs for over 50 years.  Their internet presence was represented by an old, out of date website and they were in need of a new website to help them accomplish their mission and goals as a church.

POPLCscreenshotSo last week, they launched their new Custom Pro Website from OurChurch.Com.  Below are some of the features that is helping Prince of Peace accomplish their goals as a church:

    • Beautiful Custom Design:  Prince of Peace’s new design is open and clean and makes it easy for visitors to find the information they want.
    • Homepage Image Slider:  Having an image slider on the homepage allows Prince of Peace to convey important information about the church in an easy way that is visibly pleasing to the website’s visitor.
    • Link to Calendar:  Prince of Peace had an existing calendar through www.mychurchevents.com and wanted to keep using it.  They were able to easily link to their church calendar from their new website.
    • Online Sermons:  Prince of Peace features audio versions of their sermons so those who are not able to attend the services because they are ill, work, or are out of town can still listen to the sermons on their website.
    • Staff directory with Bio feature:  Visitors to the website can go to the staff directory to find out more about the staff at the church.  The picture and bio feature allows visitors to feel connected with the church so when they visit the church for the first time, they already feel like they know people.

So what do you think of the new Prince of Peace website?

Is your current website old, outdated, and in need of an overhaul?  If so, please contact me by clicking here so we can talk about it.
