For the past month, we have been talking about April 21st and its significance in the world of websites. If you didn’t read the past posts, today is when Google stated it was going to begin to factor a website’s mobile-friendliness into the mobile search rankings.
If you didn’t know this, have been too busy, or simply ignored the notices, it is not too late to get started. If your website isn’t mobile friendly, there is no better time than the present to start the process.
If you are not sure if your website is mobile friendly or not, go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/ and enter your web address. If you find that it isn’t web friendly, contact the company who built your website and ask them how you can get your website to be mobile friendly. Please keep in mind that they may be already working with many other clients in getting their websites mobile friendly but even if they can’t start working on your site, don’t lose heart and don’t put off getting in line to have them work on your website.
If you can’t get in touch with the person or company that built your website, we would love to talk with you about your site and if we can either convert your current site to be mobile friendly or if we can built a new website.
