How to Boost your Communication & Organization with Google Forms

    Google Forms for church communication

This month our focus is on Google tools that can help you communicate, organize and grow your church, ministry or business.

Google Forms is a excellent tool that has many uses.  In this article we’ll focus on just two.

    Survey Says!

Google Forms is a great tool for surveys.  It’s offers a variety of different answer types – short answer, multiple choice, check boxes, etc.  It’s very quick and easy to use.

When you want to see the results, Google produces charts showing the number and percentage each multiple choice answer received. You can also review all the individual responses in an online Google spreadsheet, making it easy to review and share the results with your whole team regardless of where they are.

We use Google Forms for our monthly Listening Post survey.

Speaking of which, we’d love to hear from you, so go, share your perspective and feedback in this month’s Listening Post!

    Register This!

Google Forms is also a good tool for sign-up/registration forms.  Stop hassling with clipboards and paper forms all over your office or church lobby.  With Google forms, you can quickly and easily do it all online.

Some other benefits of using Google Forms for registration… Because it’s online, all the registration info is available anywhere anytime, and you can give permission to view it to anyone you want.  You don’t have to try to figure out people’s sloppy hand writing.

The soccer club I’m a part of uses Google Forms for registering new players.

Bottom line… Google Forms is a great tool for surveys and sign-ups.

    • When was the last time you surveyed your members or customers?
    • Have you ever used Google Forms to do it? If so, what was your experience like?
