Post Your Internet Evangelism Day Stories

    Paul SteinbrueckBy Paul SteinbrueckApr 28, 2009Updated:Jan 26, 20233 Comments1 Min Read

All this month we’ve been talking about opportunities for Internet evangelism leading up to Internet Evangelism Day, which was this past Sunday.  So, now that IED has come and gone, tell us about it.

Did your church, school, web team or ministry do anything for IED?

If so, please tell us about.  Whether it was big or small, something recommended on the IED site or something totally creative, I’d love to hear about it and I’m sure a lot of your fellow readers would love to hear about it too.

Well, as IE Day coordinator, I was certainly encouraged that Christians in Sinapore put together a week of meetings:

and Paul Cull is translating IE Day resources into Portuguese, and launched this new slte last Sunday:

Many people blogged about IE Day – see a list on a google search:

There was some radio coverage – the one that I have had feedback from people who heard it, is KLOVE. There was also an intervew syndicated across New Sealand which you can listen to hear:

Hey Tony, I figured if anyone knew of IED stories you would. Thanks for posting them. I hope we hear about more in the coming days.

We’ve not had much feedback – I think people are too busy to think of doing it – but here’s a story from Diane in UK:

“Two of our teenagers performed the “Missionaries” sketch, with two backgrounds on the OHP – one with the Great Commission – Matthew 28:18-20, and one with Revelation 3:8 (I have put before you a door that no-one can shut). We gave out flyers with information on how people can become involved in online evangelism.”

      Blessings
