Google has reported “more Google searches take place on mobile devices than on computers in 10 countries including the US and Japan.”
Mobile searches include browser-based searches on phones and tablets as well as those done from Google’s mobile search apps.
This comes on the heals of Google’s mobile-friendly search algorithm update, and serves as another reminder of how important it is that your website be mobile-friendly and how important it is to monitor your mobile search rankings.
Have you noticed a change in your own search habits? Are you monitoring how many of your website visitors are on mobile devices?
