WP-EZ Website Builder Adds Footer Contact Info

    Paul SteinbrueckBy Paul SteinbrueckAug 17, 2016Updated:Jan 25, 20233 Comments2 Mins Read

For local organizations like churches, schools and local businesses, making it easy for website visitors to find your address and phone number is critically important. If you use OurChurch.Com’s WP-EZ Website Builder, this is now super easy to do with the new Footer Contact Info feature added today.

Make it Easier for Visitors to Contact You

While it’s still a good idea to have a “Contact Us” page, it’s even easier for people to find your contact info if you put it at the bottom of every page of your website. Adding it to the footer of your website accomplishes this.

Watch this video to see how easy it is to add your address and phone number to the footer of your WP-EZ website.

    Search Engine Marketing Benefits

Putting your address and phone number in the footer of your website can also help your search engine marketing. Google, Bing and other search engines are more likely show the correct address and phone number for an organization in their local search listings and maps when they are displayed in the footer of your website.

(Note we still strongly recommend manually claiming, verifying and editing local search listings or hiring a professional search engine marketing company to do this for you, but you are likely to have fewer corrections to make to your local listings if your contact info is in the footer of your site.)

If You’re Thinking of Building a New Church Website…

Not every church website builder gives you the ability to put your contact info in the footer. Factor this into your decision.

    Next Step?

If you already have a WP-EZ website, just login to your WP-EZ dashboard and you’ll be prompted with a popup for your contact info, which will be saved and added to the footer of your website.

If you want to build a Christian/church website, start here.
