The secret first step when creating a website and a free gift

    Mark SteinbrueckBy Mark SteinbrueckJul 25, 2017Updated:Jul 25, 2017No Comments2 Mins Read

OurChurch.Com has had the privileged of building church websites for over 20 years.

But even with that experience, we are continually trying to learn from others.

A while back we worked with a designer, “Paul” who had been building websites for quite some time.

When Paul started doing work for OurChurch.Com, we discussed our custom website-building process and he pointed out something huge that we were missing…

… the step of creating a Content Map.

    You may be asking yourself…

    What is a content map?

A Content Map is simply a spreadsheet that lists what content will be in your websites header, footer, and a listing of every page with specific functionality for each page.

A content map is your website’s blue print and is necessary for a smooth website building process.

Click to share this image on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest or Instagram

Because the content map lists all the content that will be needed to build your website, it give you the opportunity to start creating all your content early in the site building process.

It also eliminates any surprises so later on you don’t hear, “I didn’t know we needed that information for our website.”

We think that the content map is so important, that we want to give you a sample content map AT NO COST.

Just click here to download your FREE content map.
