When First Presbyterian Church of Middletown, OH contacted OurChurch.Com about a new website, they were going through a period of transition.
One of the biggest employers in their town had eliminated many of their jobs and as a result, many of the people who used to live in the city and attend their church, had left to find other employment. In addition, their congregation was made of an older demographic with few young adults.
Because of this, they were looking for a new website that would be attractive and inviting to new people, especially younger adults. In addition, they wanted to use their website to facilitate more outreach in the community.
Through the many discussions with the leaders of FPC, OurChurch.Com created a new custom website that will help them achieve their mission and goals. This was accomplished through:
- Inviting Custom Design.
- Mobile Friendly so it can be viewed easily on smartphones and tablets.
- Information about how people can serve with the church as they reach out to their community and the world.
- Staff directory so visitors can feel welcome, even before coming to church for the first time.
- Information about how seminary graduates can be a part of their Pastoral Residency program.
