As the new year begins, many webmasters are thinking about their plans for their website for 2015. And when you do the same things that you have done in the past, you will most likely get the same results. That is great if your website is getting tons of traffic and achieving the goals you have for it. But how do you decide what to change if you want to make improvements to your website?
The best way to make improvements on the effectiveness of your website is to make changes that you know will have a good chance of succeeding. The tough part about that is knowing what will succeed.
So in an effort to help everyone improve the effectiveness of their website, I would like for everyone reading this to share one secret with the group. In the comment section below, please share something that you have found to be an effective way to communicate via your website or social media. It doesn’t need something huge or time consuming, just something that you have found to be effective.
To start things off, I will share something that we here at OurChurch.Com have found to be effective:
Tell Stories. People are influenced when they hear how your organization helped other people. So, when you have a satisfied customer, someone who has been impacted by your church or ministry, or a family who loves your school, ask them to share that with you so you can share it on your website. Include a picture of the person and either a short quote, case study, or video.
What secret do you have? Please share it in the comment box below.
